This is part of a hybrid closed/open cell insulation job we did. The customer wanted closed cell insulation in the walls and open cell insulation in the roofline. Closed cell insulation does not need to be sprayed as thick as open cell and allows the customer to eventually put shelves on the walls. The open cell in the roof provides excellent insulation and air seal. This hybrid combination of open and closed cell is also budget friendly.
