Obituary for Micah “Dylan” Fabrycky


Micah Dylan Fabrycky, 42 years old, died after a valiant battle with cancer on June 20, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas where he was with family and friends.
Dylan lived in Macon, Georgia from 2019 until 2023 where he owned a successful business, Corner Stone Construction Services. He was a member of Safe Harbor Church in Macon. He left behind his beloved dog, Dexter.
Dylan was born on August 19, 1980, in Parsons, Kansas to Stephen Charles and Barbara Wells Fabrycky. He lived most of his life in Kansas. Dylan attended school in Parsons and after attaining his GED, he attended Labette Community College.
Dylan married Lisa Baker in 2001 and moved to Wichita to enter an apprenticeship program in carpentry. He and Lisa later divorced. At the time of death, Dylan was a Journeyman Carpenter and loved his craft. Buildings and remodels remain that are a testament of his skills in both Kansas and Georgia.
Dylan is survived by many close friends including Shannon Shadduck, Samantha Carson with her children Kirstin Carson (Jake Grady), granddaughter Autumn Grady, Tucker Myers, and Ryker Trotnic.
He is also survived by his parents, Steve Fabrycky of Parsons and Barbara (Bobbi) Wells of Macon. Other survivors include four brothers, Eli (Angie) Fabrycky, Caleb (Kelsey) Fabrycky, Jesse Fabrycky, Ethan (Alison) Fabrycky, with nieces and nephews; Lucas, Nancy, William, Steven and Emmalynn Fabrycky, Brielle Vandervoort, Noah and Luke Ryan, several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Dylan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jonathan and Glenna Jean Fabrycky, and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Kathleen Wells, and an uncle, Mark Fabrycky.
Funeral Services were held at Word of Life Church located at 915 East 53rd St. N, Park City, KS, on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Safe Harbor Church located at 7065 Moseley Dixon Rd. (Fellowship Hall), Macon, Ga 31220 at 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023.
All family and friends are welcome.
Dylan’s remains were cremated and later interred at the Fabrycky Family Cemetery in Blacksburg, VA.

CornerStone Contracting Services is Hiring For Carpenters Helper / Apprentice Carpenters

Pay is 11.00 to 14.50 per hour, based on experience; Independent Contractor Position! Raises are Reviewed every 3 months.

Training is provided on the job, and you will develop skills and knowledge that will advance your career opportunities!

Working In Bibb, Houston, Twigs, Jones, Crawford and Peach Counties. Transportation is required for this position, we will work with you if needed, for the right candidate though.

JOB DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS:
Must have own hand tools, and basic understanding/knowledge of residential finish carpentry, meaning an ability to follow technical directions and understanding of trade jargon, read and mark measurements down to 1/32 inch with a tape measure or ruler, use and appropriate application of precision carpentry tools such as squares, levels, plumbs, scribes, etc. Previous experience in residential remodeling; either working under the supervision of an experienced tradesmen, or a prescribed specific trades educational training course (I.e.; Construction Trades Vocational Course in High Schol or Job Corps) is a necessary requirement to be considered, no exceptions. I would prefer at least 18onths ON The Job Training experience, but will consider less.
Pay is commensurate with experience, with bonus structure based on performance and profitability of projects, Reviews will be assessed at 3, 6, 9, & 12 months; with possibilty for pay raises up to .50 per hour. Company will provide all power tools, safety gear, and other equipment needed for any work you are expected to perform. You must have tool belt, work boots, jeans, and carpentry hand tools, including basic screwdrivers, pliers set, speed square, framing square, chalk line, 30' tape measure, knife with disposable utility razor blade, pencils, markers, finish hammer, framing hammer, nail bar, flat bar, pray bar, 9", 24", & 48" Spirit Level, 150' string line, metal snips, nail set, and ½" &1" wood chisels. Transportation is a must to be considered for this position!
I will spend time working with you, as a Carpenter Helper, every day on every job, and will provide training on the fundamental theories and knowledge of Carpentry and Building Systems, as well as working with you on technique and skill development, ensuring that you are able to advance in your ability to become a well trained and knowledgeable tradesman, developong to a full Journeyman Level Carpenter, or specialized as a Journeyman Specialty Mechanic in the given Carpentry discipline of your choice; framing, siding/windows, finish, flooring, etc.
If you don't have any of the above required items, experience, or knowledge, that's fine - You may still apply for a position as a general laborer with our company, and work up to the Apprentice spot as soon as you can meet requirements, with immediate increase in pay and benefits, guaranteed.
