This was quite the project! 18 Beautiful Beach Plum planted in a very steep and challenging location with highly invasive species throughout.

Due to the 8:12 pitch we couldn't safely use an excavator on the hill so each clay filled hole was dug with a pry-bar and shovel, the old fashioned way!

After spacing them out, each hole was backfilled with our locally sourced 1/2" screened loam/egg shells/compost mix to ensure a proper start for their success.

A 20 year erosion fabric was then carefully installed to prevent the variety of invasive species from emerging.

The area was then finally covered with 10"-18" of woodchips to create an asthetic barrier and to help the fabric do it's job in preventing invasive growth.

As graduates of the Oyster River district we are always excited to get the Moharimet pumpkin ready for the students.

This year will be a little different with social distancing but none the less a great yearly tradition to keep the students engaged and motivated!

It was quite the long weekend but we needed to get these pre-cast frost posts set in time for inspection on Monday.

Our site work is always evolving as frost posts are something we've been doing for a while now. If you have the need and don't want to dig holes for inferior sonotubes then give us a call!

Another successful lawn installation!

All of our lawn installations are dressed up nicely with our local 1/2” screened loam/egg shells/manure mix, prepped for seed with a 12-25-12 starter fertilizer, followed with a Northern Landscape Utility Seed Mix and finally compacted to ensure proper germination. When grade issues are a problem we install S75 erosion control blankets to help seed germinate on steep inclines.

Don’t forget FREE irrigation comes with any lawn installation for 3 weeks. That’s right, let us set up all those cumbersome hoses and frustrating timers to get your lawn off to the right start!

Maple Sugaring is in full swing and we couldn’t be happier!

The sugar content is down from last year (2.1 to start 2019 and 1.7 to start 2020) due to the mild winter we’ve had but in comparison were tapped in much earlier (Feb 25th 2020 vs March 12th 2019) which is always exciting.

The temps are starting to feel a lot like quintessential March sugaring so we’re hoping for a great week to get our overall numbers up, (1287 gallons collected thus far on 350 taps).

Were almost always stocked up on half-pints ($6), pints ($10) & quarts ($20) and can bottle on request. If your out and about, please stop in at our favorite vendor Emery Farm where you can find all our various sizes and options.

Thanks again for all your support!
