Another set of stairs they just finished recently!
I didn’t know if I’d be able to get back after the finish was applied so I grabbed some pictures to show off.
This set of stairs was an existing basement stair that needed hand rails and the treads replaced.
We used white oak to match the existing built ins and added a modern metal rail that allowed the rail to be fixed to the sides of the stair and the ceiling without needing any structural changes.

The Walker Keay Farm is a local CSA that provides a large variety of produce and flowers to the community. You can join the CSA or shop their produce at

This was a wonderful kitchen to design, the light color of the cabinets is a warming contrast to the dark wood beams and repurposed butcher’s block counters.

The lay out initially was closed off and blocked the flow of the home into the living room, now with removing of walls and orientating the island the space has become a flowing open floor plan.

The use of stone counters and refurbished butcher’s block gives the kitchen a modern feel yet retains that farmhouse charm!

Keeping with the farmhouse vibe the Nickel Gap paneling on the island draws from shiplap board walls of old homes, yet gives a clean finished look sitting on the floor.

Step back into the living room and you can see the flow from the island seating, to cook space, around to the massive fridge and pantry, and back out to the living space.

This kitchen will last generations to come and will forever keep its timeless design!

This little desk is tucked into an unused bedroom nook. The space went from a catch all corner to a functional storage and work space!!!

Added this bookshelf to a large living room that needed some storage!!!
We kept it simple and put it on a blank wall. It is the perfect location for decorations and books.
Sitting off to the side of the room the empty space is now full, visible yet not taking up the functionality of the room.

I can’t say enough about working with Chris and !!!!
I got back to the last of the homes at “The Roe” and their team had gone through and put all the finishing touches in the last home. With this house Chris brought my team in to do all of the interior trim, from base board to cabinet install and stairs to beams.
Otter Creek is one of the best home builders I have worked with in 25+ years of doing interior finish and cabinetry.
From the owners to management and laborer to carpenter a wonderful group of people to work with!
