A few pictures from a recent project here in Madison, CT. I was hired by a local designer for a unique 1/2 library in the clients home office. After considering a few different wood species, the client decided on red grandis as it worked perfectly with the paint color for the middle and upper book/display cases. A tremendous amount of custom veneer work and paint went into this project, but I’m happy with how it all turned out. Thank you to Christie Sobran Designs for the opportunity and for the excellent supply of lumber.

Happy Saturday. Finally a beautiful day in CT! I delivered a custom 6 ft walnut credenza yesterday for an amazing client. I got to see the space freshly painted and the walnut shelving and wrap around I built a few months ago really look great in this space. Thanks to for always supplying me with the best lumber and plywood for my builds and Madison for supplying me with most everything else to get the job done. Looking forward to the next project.

One of my boards being put to good use in its new home in Montreal. My small items have made new homes in Connecticut, Texas, New Hampshire, Alaska, and even Canada this holiday season. Thank you everyone for your support of my woodworking business! I still have a few small items available on my website if you’re looking to spend even more money after the holidays. I won’t be making another batch for a while, shifting my focus to larger furniture projects. Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

I built this version of a side table I I came across in a Serena & Lily catalogue. It’s a simple design with modern clean lines and instead of using a finish to force uniqueness, I used quartersawn white oak with a natural oil and wax finish which shows off the unique grain figure and allows a natural look. I also deviated by using mortise and tenon joinery, half laps, expansion washers, and base levelers on all four corners so this piece will sit level on any surface. It’s a beautiful piece, smooth to the touch and well built. Available for sale on my website wacrozierfurniture.com

Here I have a chess table made of quartersawn cherry and curly maple with a leopard print liner in the storage compartment.
