We wanted to share a new update on the custom home we posted about a few months ago. A lot has happened since then, and the build is now in its final stages. The structure, layout, and major features have all taken shape beautifully, and we’re putting the finishing touches on the interior and exterior. It’s always rewarding to watch a project evolve from plans to reality, and we’re thrilled with how close this home is to completion. Check out the newest progress photos below!

Project Spotlight: The Advancement Foundation/Virginia Innovation Accelerator in Buena Vista, Virginia

We are nearing completion on the transformation of the historic Mundet Hermetite Building into a dynamic business incubator and community hub. This adaptive reuse project preserves the building’s industrial character while introducing modern, sustainable features — including a facade renovation with a solar panel canopy, fully accessible entrances and restrooms, a commercial kitchen, and flexible retail space to support local entrepreneurs.

Funded through Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) grants, this initiative promotes community revitalization and economic growth by providing an inclusive, innovative space for small businesses and startups to thrive.
