Why choose between lighting performance and acoustic comfort when you can design for both?
's lounge and collaboration space is featured in the May issue of Illuminating Engineering Society’s LD+A Magazine, highlighting a coordinated approach developed by and Sabin Design in which lit and unlit elements were matched in size, materiality, and mounting methods to create a denser ceiling plane that supports both acoustic absorption and lighting performance. Rather than treating acoustics as a layer added after lighting, the team integrated illumination and absorptive surface area, allowing performance goals to be balanced without over-lighting the space or compromising the design intent.
