🚧 Meet the Team Monday 🚧

This week, we’re introducing Justin Rogers!

Justin brings nearly 16 years of experience in the mining and heavy equipment industry to our team. He began working in the mining field around 2010 and has gained extensive experience with crushing units, wash plants, and a wide variety of heavy equipment both on and off site.

When it comes to equipment, Justin has spent plenty of hours in the seat of blades, loaders, dozers, and excavators. His favorite? The dozer, followed by the excavator and blade. And when it comes to excavators, Justin says, “You name it and I’ll learn its attitude.” We like that attitude.

Outside of work, Justin stays busy year-round. Sprint car racing is his biggest hobby and keeps him busy throughout the summer. When racing season winds down, you’ll find him hunting, fishing, and trapping.

Workday playlist: Five Finger Death Punch, with some ’80s and ’90s country making an appearance later in the day.

Justin’s combination of industry knowledge, equipment experience, and willingness to take on a challenge makes him a great addition to the KX team. We’re glad to have him on board!

Today’s forecast: 100% chance of PM’s in the office☔️

So, Blake is holding it down in the office instead of in the field! Behind-the-scenes work is just as important as the work on job sites!

🚧 Meet the Team Monday 🚧

This week, we’re introducing Bob Roling, one of our Truck Drivers here at Kesteloot Excavation!

Bob recently joined the KX team, bringing 32 years of trucking experience with him. A Madison, SD native, Bob has spent years behind the wheel and brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to our growing team. From hauling aggregates and other materials to delivering what our crews need directly to the job site, he is an essential part of keeping projects on schedule and our field operations running efficiently.

A little more about Bob:

Favorite color: Blue
Outside of work: he enjoys camping and spending time with family
Family: Bob has been married to his wife for nearly 29 years and has three children
Workday soundtrack: ’80s rock, especially Def Leppard and Poison

We’re grateful to have Bob as part of the KX team and appreciate the role he plays in keeping our crews supplied, our materials moving, and our projects progressing.

Welcome to the KX crew, Bob!

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes!

We’re excited to be part of this bridge approach and structure project in Deuel County. From protecting aquatic life and diverting the water to demolition, excavation, box culvert prep, and final grading, there are a lot of moving pieces that go into a project like this.
