I've decided to start adding furniture refinishing/staining/painting to my services. So if anyone ever has a bookshelf, table, chair etc you'd like to bring back to life and maybe give it a different and new look please feel free to let me know. This would be a nice way to have some work while I'm at home or have downtime between painting houses. I work hard and take painting as a craft very seriously so I would love to start doing more of these kind of things.

Have some approved estimates I'm waiting to hear back on scheduling now that holidays have past, but if anyone is needing any painting and/or drywall repair done please feel free to reach out here or at 2564681824. Some progress shots of my current work. Started by repairing drywall seams between ceiling and walls, and other drywall damage. Spot primed the repairs, painted ceilings, and then started on walls. 2 sides od the room will be 2 toned with darker grey up high and lighter grey down low. Trim will be installed where the 2 colors meet. Been a physically challenging but fun and interesting project.

Here's some hand rails I wrapped up at New Life today. First I sanded them in order to smooth rusty spots and chipping paint and then used a brush and cigar roller to paint them with an oil based gloss. Enjoyed this as it's not something I get to do frequently.

Some shots of early and final stages of my latest job. I began by fixing blemishes (filling nail holes, scraping old drips, pulling sheetrock nails that were popping through, applying drywall compound, sanding, priming repairs etc.) Then I applied 2 coats on all walls. I loved the color. Will probably use it on my own spaces in the future. Very grateful for this job - a beautiful area and empty house. Very peaceful.

Tools laid out, and next job is underway. Grateful for work, a full schedule, and all my awesome clients.

Wrapped this one up today (still drying so a tad streaky til it is dry). This was fun doing the all black. Got some close up of the lines. Quite sharp if I do say so myself.

Me and Cooper the hound dog are ready to paint some ceilings. First step: Cover everything. Then I'll be. using Valspar Ultra Ceiling paint. I don't use much Valspar though I find it to be decent paint but they do have my favorite ceiling paint. Great coverage and appearance. Then I'll be cutting in with a Purdy 3" High Capacity (not a big Purdy fan but I wanted a high capacity brush for this job.. You can get so much more done per dip), I'll roll out some of the cuts with the extended cigar roller and then will be rolling the ceiling with 18 inch white dove (3/8 nap for a very smooth finish). Those 18 inch rollers kill my back but so much easier to get uniformity than with a 9 inch. Time to get some work done yo.
