Today's Youth Apprenticeship Spotlight series features Ayden, who works as an Electrical Youth Apprentice at Westphal & Co.

During a typical work day, Ayden works with PVC pipes and prepares materials for electrical wiring.

Courses that prepared Ayden for this experience include: Welding, Intro to Electricity and Magnetism, Metal Technology, Foundations of Technology, and Engines. Ayden also has First Aid, OSHA 10, and OSHA 30 certifications.

Sophomore and junior years are the perfect time to investigate Youth Apprenticeship options.
