Erosion control along the side of a house on a hill (same house as the retaining wall). By far the most scared I’ve been working for myself. Excavating around gas lines and traveling up and down a very steep hill with a rather ornery neighbor. Take away: you don’t learn and grow unless you take yourself out of your comfort zone.

75’ timber retaining wall for the coolest house on the hill. 85 Timbers and 60 yards of topsoil/sand mix later these guys have a back yard that won’t wash out from under them. This was a hard one to take pictures of but I’d still give myself a C- for after photos.

This was my first backyard jungle tear down. Found a ton of flagstone hiding in the dirt so we decided to build a walkway and water feature. Notes going back: take better before pictures, clean up and stage before after photos.
We planted many things and a fence was installed since the last photos so I hope to update with better pics this summer!
