For our August site visit, team members headed to Stillwater to see the progress of the new HealthPartners Lakeview Hospital.

The project was designed and led by HKS Architects, serving as Design Lead and Architect of Record with BWBR as associated architect, alongside contractor Kraus-Anderson. It was exciting to see the project taking shape and get a firsthand look at the coordination that goes into bringing a new facility to life. We’re looking forward to seeing the next stage of construction! 🏗️

BWBR partnered with Madison College on a transformative project for the Biotechnology program, which supports advanced training and research for Wisconsin's life sciences industry. By relocating and redesigning the program using a shared lab support model, BWBR helped create state-of-the-art facilities with functional collaborative spaces and distinctive branding.

Following BWBR’s renovation of the League of Minnesota Cities’ first and second floors, the team partnered again to remodel the workplace’s second floor café and third floor offices. As a hybrid workforce, reinforcing collaboration and enhancing inclusivity for remote employees was a major driver. The project also supports holistic accessibility and wellbeing with wheelchair-accessible table heights, carefully selected carpet pile, and high-contrast flooring and wall base to aid navigation for those with visual impairments—alongside a variety of spaces that give employees choice and control over their environment.

This month, BWBR celebrated its 200th session of Landmark Learning—a firm learning program designed to help new and emerging professionals develop critical design and interpersonal skills.
