Yesterday, our team stepped away from the office for a little friendly competition, good food, and even better company! 🙌

Team-building days like this are a great reminder that the people we work alongside every day are what make a team truly great. We laughed, competed, encouraged each other, and made some great memories along the way! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

$23 MILLION a year. 👀

That’s the economic impact sports tourism is bringing into our community.

Today’s BOMA meeting took us to the John Hunt Park Recreation Center, where we heard from James Gossett with Huntsville Parks & Recreation about the continued growth of our parks, facilities and sports tourism.

And that $23 million number stuck with me.

It’s easy to drive past these facilities and see fields, courts and recreation space. But behind them are tournaments, visiting families, hotel stays, restaurants, local businesses and millions of dollars being poured back into our community.

Growth really does touch every industry.

Another great BOMA meeting and another reminder of just how much is happening right here in Huntsville. I always enjoy getting outside of my own industry and learning more about the pieces that are helping move our city forward.
