This custom Arcadia GlassHouse in Eastern Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, was designed with details that go beyond a standard greenhouse, including a custom 4" x 4" corner post design that gives the structure a distinctive architectural look.

The 16' x 24' freestanding greenhouse also features:

• 8/12 roof pitch
• 3/16" single pane glass throughout
• Custom 12' reverse gable entryway
• 6' door without center post
• Custom 3' side door
• Professional engineering for 30 PSF snow loads and 105 MPH wind loads
• Custom ventilation, heating, windows, shade cloth, and DuraBenches

This custom 5' x 10' second-story lean-to greenhouse proves that with the right design, almost any space can become the perfect place to grow.

Finished in a bronze powder coat, this greenhouse features a 3/16" single-pane tempered glass front, 8mm clear polycarbonate gables, and two 24" double-hung windows for ventilation.

What makes this project even more impressive? It was completely self-installed by the homeowners, showing that even a custom second-story greenhouse can become a reality with careful planning and determination.

A greenhouse is at its best when it's full of plants, and this one is thriving.

This 8' x 12' greenhouse in Dallas was designed with functionality in mind. The side benches provide valuable growing space while keeping the center aisle open and accessible, creating plenty of room for both plants and people. The potting sink adds a dedicated workspace for repotting, watering, and everyday plant care, helping make greenhouse tasks more efficient and enjoyable.

To help manage the Texas sun, the owner added Aluminet interior shade cloth, which reflects excess heat and light while maintaining excellent growing conditions for a wide variety of plants. Combined with the fan and shutter ventilation system, it helps create a more comfortable environment throughout the year.
