When we bought this house, demo had already begun. Although I’m not sure what the original plans looked like, I’m loving the results from a couple key decisions made here. 1. To keep some of the wall for extra cabinet space and 2. To remove the pantry closet and replace it with a built-in cabinet pantry in order to fully use the space in front of the old pantry for the sink relocation and a ton more counter space with the addition of a breakfast bar.

We turned the old dining room into a home office and got rid of the small doorway to the kitchen. By doing this, we were able to completely rearrange the kitchen (pictured in the last post) to be so much more functional!
