Congratulations to Thomas Wayne “Jig” Robison on an outstanding performance at the 2026 NRMCA National Mixer Driver Championship in Nashville last week!

Representing MMC Materials and our North Mississippi/Memphis Area, Wayne earned 1st place medals in both the Pre-Trip Inspection and Hoops & Hockey events!

As MMC Materials approaches its 100th anniversary in 2027, we're looking back at the people, places, and moments that helped shape our history.

During a recent visit to Dunn Investment Company, we explored generations of company history through photographs, memorabilia, and stories of the people who helped build MMC into what it is today.

Among these treasured photographs is one featuring Jamie French, Elton Cook, and Jim Overstreet at Elton's retirement – a moment that reflects the leadership and lasting relationships behind MMC's legacy.

Since 1927, our story has been built on more than concrete. It's a story of people, dedication, and a commitment to building something that lasts. As we approach this milestone, there are still so many stories to share!

MMC Materials was on the road in Nashville last week for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) ConcreteWorks conference!

Taylor Wilson and Bobby Dowdy represented MMC Materials at a booth showcasing ReadyGrout, our high-performance, non-shrink grout delivered directly to the jobsite in a mixer truck.

Designed to save time, reduce labor costs, and improve efficiency, ReadyGrout meets ASTM C1107 standards and offers compressive strengths ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 psi.

It was a great opportunity to connect with industry professionals and demonstrate how ReadyGrout provides a convenient, reliable solution for demanding construction projects.

Another big pour in the books for our Central Mississippi team!

Our crews were hard at work through the night, delivering 450 cubic yards of concrete for The Refuge Lofts, an upcoming multi-story apartment development in Flowood, Mississippi, near The Refuge Golf Course and Jackson - Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport / Hawkins Field.

We're glad to be part of this growing development alongside Block Companies, General Contractor, and Centra Construction, Paving Contractor.

Great work by everyone involved in keeping this project moving!

A little Home Town connection! Our Hattiesburg Area team recently had the opportunity to deliver concrete to the home of Erin and Ben Napier, stars of HGTV's Home Town!

Pictured with Ben is MMC Materials Sales Representative Logan Cofield, who stopped by to check on the pour.

And apparently, even the family dog wanted to get in on the action! Their curious pup decided to take a walk through the freshly poured concrete before being safely rescued.

It's always fun to see our trucks on the job, especially when the job comes with a little Mississippi star power!

MMC Materials recently enjoyed a great day at the Wing Dang Doodle Festival in Forest, Mississippi!

We were proud to be a Silver Sponsor of this community event, and our Central Mississippi Area team fired up the grills, cooked plenty of chicken wings, and enjoyed spending the day with coworkers and members of the community.
