At just twelve years old, Terry began his construction career working along side his dad and uncles. After graduating high school, he was awarded a full-ride construction scholarship to a local college. Though this offer was quite remarkable, Terry decided that the hands-on experience and knowledge that he would gain working in the field was far more valuable than a formal education. As a newlywed husband with a baby on the way, Terry sought his own contractor's license and got right to work building the business that would support his family for many generations to come. Family has always been a core value of Terry's and that is reflected throughout his company. The TGC team is comprised of his wife, daughter, multiple granddaughters, a son-in-law, and many other non-related employees that are cherished like family as well. We understand that building a home is an important milestone for your family, and from our family to yours, we send a sincere thank you for choosing us to be apart of it.

The kitchen has a funny way of becoming the center of the entire house.

It’s where everyone gathers during a party, even though there are perfectly good chairs literally everywhere else. It’s where homework gets done, groceries get dropped, coffee gets made, life gets discussed, and somehow four people always need the exact same two feet of counter space at the exact same time.

And if your kitchen doesn’t work well, you know it.

Maybe you have one cabinet that attacks you every time you open it. Maybe your countertops disappeared sometime around 2014 under the toaster, air fryer, coffee maker, blender, and seventeen other appliances you definitely “use all the time.”

Maybe your kitchen layout was designed by someone who had apparently never cooked a meal before.

That’s where a remodel can make a huge difference.

And no, remodeling your kitchen doesn’t always mean ripping the entire thing apart and living off takeout for six months.

Not every home improvement project needs to start with a bulldozer, a dumpster in the driveway, and you questioning every financial decision you’ve ever made.

Sometimes your house doesn’t need a complete remodel.

The Most Expensive Home Repair Is Usually the One You Didn’t Do.

Let’s play a quick game.

Walk outside, stare at your house for 30 seconds, and ask yourself:

“Has that crack always been there?”

If your answer is, “I think so…” congratulations. You’ve officially joined the club of homeowners who accidentally play Construction Roulette.

Here’s the thing. Most stucco damage doesn’t show up by dramatically falling off the side of your house. It’s sneaky. Tiny cracks let moisture in. Water does what water does best… it wanders. Before you know it, that innocent little crack has become damaged sheathing, mold, rot, and a repair bill that suddenly has a comma in it.

Your house is surprisingly polite. It whispers before it screams.

Look for:
• Hairline cracks that seem to be growing.

• Soft spots.
• Stucco pulling away from windows or doors.
