I went to get some lumber today and saw this beautiful piece of walnut. I decided it was way too nice not to take it home with me. On the way home reality hit and I realized I didnā€™t have a project for it and my shop is too small to store it for very long. Anyone have any ideas? Itā€™s about an inch thick. A little shy of 20ā€ wide and 8 feet long.

Life gets crazy and I forget to post as often as I should. Here are a few projects Iā€™ve done lately. A foldable quilt ladder the new owner can use for craft shows. An ulu knife with a couple of concave cutting boards. And a memorial ring using some pigment mixed with some ashes from the owners beloved pet who recently passed away.

Havenā€™t posted in a bit, but the projects havenā€™t stopped.

Just finished up this Wahoo board. Sometimes also called aggravation board or marble board. Itā€™s played similar to the game Sorry with dice and marbles. And decided to do a Chinese checkers board on the back.

Iā€™ve recently started making rings. I couldnā€™t post them when I made them as they was gifts. But Iā€™m pretty happy with how these turned out. There is a lot of different options for making them. These 2 was made with a bocote ring cores and some ashes from a cremated loved one.
