Storm damage doesn’t always start with the storm.

For this project in Magnolia, we were called to remove a tree that had fallen onto an elderly homeowner’s house after severe weather moved through the area. The tree had been weakened after nearby work disturbed and cut through part of its root system, reducing its stability over time.

Root systems play a major role in a tree’s ability to withstand wind and weather. When roots are compromised, even a healthy-looking tree can become vulnerable.

Most people don’t realize what goes into removing a large tree.

This tree in Cypress took two full days to remove safely. With limbs extending over neighboring property, the work had to be carefully taken apart section by section and lowered in a controlled process to protect the surrounding area.

Large tree removals aren’t just about cutting. They require planning, specialized equipment, debris management, and knowing how to safely work around homes and structures.
