We often talk about the threat of development in the Valley but another major problem is vandalism to our landscapes, monuments, and historic structures. This past weekend we had two incidents where people attempted to or did break into some of our historic structures. With our security cameras we were able to alert the local police who quickly arrived and apprehended these individuals. A special thank you to the Town of New Market Police Department, Mount Jackson Police Department, Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office, Frederick County Virginia Sheriff's Office, and the Town of Middletown VA Police Department for their quick response and helping to protect these important sites!
