The high winds in Crowley really took its toll. A fallen tree took out these clients overhead service drop ripping the Main Distribution Panel off the wall causing quite the “firework” show. Within a few days we had their power restored.

It has been a crazy couple weeks. With the absurd amount of snow we have received in Mammoth Lakes, California it has caused quite a bit of issues with various residents electrical services. We have had branches snap and trees fall, fully taking out service masts/entrances. Not to mention completely buried OVERHEAD services, it truly has been a wild ride. There have been many clients that lost power causing them to loose heat as well. This is not a good scenario in times like these. If you find yourself in a similar situation and need assistance don’t hesitate to call Elliott Electric and see if we can assist. Hope everyone has had a wonderful Monday and week ahead. Looks like we may see some much needed sunshine in our future.

(When doing a Main Distribution Upgrade there are always many moving parts involved. Things like working with the Town or County officials and inspectors, scheduling with SCE Planners and troubleman, as well as scheduling inspections with the building department. Being able to line everything up and execute the plan safely and efficiently is what we are all about here at Elliott Electric. We will never leave a customer without power overnight. This photo is just a little example of what we do. Main Panel Upgrade along with an update to two Zinsco Panels. This house is now electrically safe and sound.)

LED retrofit day. Its hard not to enjoy these types of jobs. Clean work site, beautiful homes, and clients that are always amazed at the huge difference a simple change to LED can make. Not only does it cosmetically look better but they save you money too. Higher efficiency and lets be honest, who wants to keep changing light bulbs? You wont have to with these newer LED fixtures.
