Our first mini harvest, pineberry strawberry. This is a tart strawberry that supposedly has a taste between strawberry and pineapple. We have mixed reviews on this house! 🍍🍓 Please know that the late april cold spell many farmers lost lots of their crops. This years you pick and farm stand maybe a little more bare than in years past. Please continue to support your local farms, we all continue to work hard to support our local communities!

Next Sunday I will be at the Manalapan Rec Center for the Natire Fest, talking about all things bees, native pollinators, and how to help them! I hope you come by and visit, stop and say hi!!

We’ve been quiet, but we’ve been busy. This weekend we received 2 packages of bees. 3 lbs of bees and a queen they need to accept. We have to check on her tomorrow, to make sure they accept her before we release her from her cage. We’ve also been prepping what we’re preparing for this years garden will be growing! Lots of fun stuff planned for this year! 🐝🌷🍓🍎🫛🌽

Legend has it that St Valentine was a bee keeper. I can’t confirm the accuracy of that, but I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day tomorrow, that it’s sweet like honey. Honey reminds us that affection, like faith, is made through many small acts of care. 💛🐝🍯

This morning we donated 663 lip balms to Astera Cancer care, literally a hamper full!! We worked with a tremendous group of 4-Hers and actually stopped because we ran out of supplies! I’m so proud of everyone that helped put this together, my farm boy for really taking control of the ingredients and making sure it was perfect. It’s a small donation, but so hopeful that it gives the patients a little relief in their day!
