This is what a real day looks like on one of our whole-home renovation and addition projects in Belmar, New Jersey.

Today we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s independence and remember those who have served and sacrificed to protect the freedoms we enjoy.

As a company with Marine Corps veterans on our team, this day carries special meaning for us.

On this large-scale custom home renovation in Belmar, we’re filling in the existing basement to meet current FEMA flood requirements.

Before work like this moves forward, our project managers do the due diligence with the plans, engineers, and local officials to confirm what is truly required. If there’s a way to avoid unnecessary work, we’ll find it. In this case, bringing the home up to current standards was required.

To get the fill material inside efficiently, we used a conveyor belt system before compacting the soil.

Building the right way starts long before the finishes go in.
