After considering community feedback, the City of Manassas and Historic Manassas, Inc. (HMI) have canceled the final First Friday event of 2026 to focus on upcoming fall and winter festivities. Community feedback remains important as planning continues for 2027.

A fresh purpose for an existing space.

At Palace Plaza in Annandale, a former 10,000-square-foot restaurant presented an opportunity to rethink what the building could become. Loveless Porter Architects transformed the space into two smaller locations for new food-service tenants, while new entry canopies and an updated faรงade gave the property a more modern, welcoming presence.

Itโ€™s a great example of how thoughtful renovation can extend the life of an existing buildingโ€”creating new opportunities without starting from scratch.
