Earlier this month two of Longchamps’ own, Ella Parker and Magen Lynch were recognized Associated Builders and Contractors New Hampshire/Vermont Construction Magazine March 2026 for Women in Construction Week (March 1-7, 2026).

Through their hard work and perseverance, they help break barriers and inspire the next generation of women in the construction industry. Their contributions not only strengthen our team but also highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in building a stronger future.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Bob Longchamps, founder of Longchamps Electric.

Bob founded the company on March 1, 1974, and dedicated 41 years to building it—working every day until his retirement in 2015. He built Longchamps Electric on hard work, integrity, and treating people the right way.

Our company’s culture, reputation, and success are a direct result of Bob’s vision and leadership. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on through the company he built and the people he impacted.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Bob’s family and loved ones.

United in the fight against breast cancer! Longchamps Electric raised $11,800 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and donated it all to The Susan G. Komen for the Cure fund. Together, we can create a world without breast cancer.

On Friday, we celebrated our Longchamps family with a day full of good food, prizes, giveaways, a vendor tradeshow, golf, and good times! Thank you to all who participated in making this event and huge success!

On this day, 50 years ago, Bob Longchamps took the leap and started Longchamps Electric which has become one of the largest, most respected electrical contractors in New England. Today was full of laughs, stories, and memories from over the years. Thank you Bob for having the courage and vision to do what you did in 1974!

Longchamps employees you did it again! It was a great show of pink on Friday, October 27th, (125) employees participated in this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness day.

The company has donated $12,500 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
