New Hampshire Electrical Contractors Business Association - ECBA

New Hampshire Electrical Contractors Business Association - ECBA Electrical Contractors Business Association Our organization and members are very active in our industry and the community sponsoring and coordinating events.

We serve our members in a variety of ways including public education, craft and technical training, government affairs, and social and peer group networking opportunities. ECBA is very active in state government. For example, we were instrumental in last year’s law change that allows Master electricians to have more than one apprentice. Our government affairs committee is currently working to coor

dinate the states time tables on code adoption and continuing education rules so that electricians don’t get caught without continuing education options. So far this year ECBA has participated on the states apprenticeship curriculum committee, sponsored and coordinated a Skills USA competition for high school students enrolled in electrical programs, sponsored and coordinated a generator seminar and worked with several state lawmakers to promote the electrical industry and educate them on the importance of what we do. One of our most popular benefits is our low cost continuing education code update class held every cycle, for many members the cost savings they achieve at this one event actually pays for their annual dues.
