Nygard Home Solutions, LLC Custom home solutions, garage floor coating and general small construction services. Extreme DIY'r! That's probably the best way to sum this up.

I like to build things and work with my hands. My family and I recently moved back to Bismarck after being away for almost 7yrs. Thankfully we're in a position where I can start doing what I love. I've had a few careers over the years but being a stay at home dad is where I needed to be the last few of those years. Now I am finding time to take on jobs outside the house. Some parents work out of t

he house selling a variety of products, well, I do garage floors. I spent quite a bit of the last 6 months studying, sampling and working with concrete coatings. I've now started to put all that knowledge to work. My main concentration will be in floor coatings for garages or any concrete area that needs a face lift. I love freshening up the shop/garage space and turning it into an extension of the house. There are plenty of options out there for coatings and contractors. I pride myself on being able to give you a quality job at an affordable price. Outside of that as I find the time I hope to help people with random jobs or maintenance around the house that the big contractors don't want to touch. If you've got a Pintrest idea that you'd like to bring to life look me up. If you have a small room that needs some wood flooring put down, look me up. I'm not afraid to try something and not afraid to tell you the truth and say "nope, I can't do that." :)

I am licensed and insured but there are somethings I won't touch (roofing, electrical, plumbing). Sorry, not insured or trained for that. Anything else feel free to PM, TXT or call me with any questions. I'm in the process of ramping up my shop and should be able to handle quite a few random jobs as they become available.

Embrace the grind. This floor was a challenge due to the hard concrete. Turned it into a head-turner. Got rid of those ugly, dirt collecting saw joints too. πŸ‘πŸ»

Photos of the floor never come through as good as they look in person, but I still try. This homeowner wanted to match the exterior of his house. Picked a custom color and I think they nailed it. I just did the furnace room prior to installation so more pics to follow.

What feels like a million yrs ago I started a project for Bismarck Hockey silent auction. World stopped, auction was delayed and I put the project away to β€˜get to it later’. Later arrived. What are your thoughts!? I had some people inquire on getting a set, anyone interested? Hockey for now but may try to do some football ones later this summer and experiment w/baseball and basketball as well.

Price would be $150. Includes beanbags (w/storage bag), additional carrying case for the boards and the cup/scorekeeper lay out. Cost savings if you provide decals or want to supply your own bags and/or don’t want a carrying case. Top is coated w/a solid clear-coat epoxy. (I’ll be setting these outside over the next week or so to test UV stability).

If interested let me know. PM me on Facebook or call/txt.πŸ‘πŸ»

Update: head has been hung! 😳😳 !!

But, you can’t make anything out of cottonwood... πŸ˜‰ honestly, it is a lot of work but cottonwood has a lot of character. Here’s a project that’s been in process for a while (sorry Krueger). It will be a wall mounting plate for a European style ND Elk taken by my friends son in 2019! Can’t wait to see it in the wall!!

Hey all. I've been spending a lot of time doing dad things and focusing on getting my mad scientist lab.. er, shop together over the past few months. I've reached a point where I have some availability to take on 2-3 garage floor projects between now and freeze up. If anyone is looking for a great looking, durable option for their worn out garage floor hit me up! Prices range quite a bit, lots of options to talk over. Top end floor could be had for around $4.75/sqft. There are more economical options too. Still time left to get this done before it gets too cold. If you'd like to talk more txt or message me on Facebook.

Another busy winter chasing hockey players around is in the books. Finally starting to get going on a few things again. My focus over the next few months will be to get my shop up and running so I can direct my attention to more of the small projects (like the table I made for BHB among others) that I get requests for. That's where I've wanted this venture eventually get to and I'm excited to be taking it there!
Along with all that I'm still looking to do a couple garage floor coatings so if you or someone you know is in the market and want to get your floor looking good before Graduation or a busy summer, hit me up soon. I have a couple spots open for later this month or early to Mid May.
