Most expensive homes are built wrong.

What’s harder is making sure the house performs 10, 20, and 30 years from now.

On this home, every exterior material was selected with longevity in mind:

- Hardie siding for durability and low maintenance
- PVC trim so there’s nothing to rot, swell, or deteriorate over time
- Proper flashing and weatherproofing details behind the finishes to protect the structure

Not when you’re installing 5”+ white oak…

Anything over 4” wide moves more with seasonal changes.
If you only nail it, you’re increasing the chances of movement, squeaks, and future callbacks.

We’re installing over plywood and using adhesive + nails.

Nails hold it down.
Glue reduces deflection, limits movement, and adds long-term stability.

This is the difference between “looks good today”
and “still looks good in 10 years.”
