Anderson Knight Architects

Anderson Knight Architects We are designers inspired by life — creating spaces where children learn, families thrive, people gather, and businesses flourish.

In 2002, we founded Anderson Knight Architects with a clear vision. We dream of sophisticated, professional and alluring architecture. We create simple, efficient and genuine reflections of those who use it. We believe relationship inspires design. Our firm provides personal, consistent attention at every stage to assure that regardless of size and style, the end product is always thoughtfully tail

ored to the needs and preferences of each client. We combine innovative ideas with a mastery of long-standing architectural traditions, creating an entirely fresh approach to architecture. By beginning each project with open ears and an open mind, we work to gain an in-depth understanding of the client's ideas and the challenges of the project. Our goal is to make a client oriented design process that is flexible and enjoyable in order for our clients to have the best options possible.

Two work anniversaries, one undeniable truth: some people really do get better with age 🍷

In honor of these milestones, we dug deep into the archives. (Thanks mom and dad)

Yes, once upon a time they were rocking diapers instead of deadlines and bottles instead of coffee. Fast forward to today, and they’ve traded in pacifiers for professionalism (mostly), and somehow managed to glow up into the talented humans we work with every day.

Like a fine wine, they’ve aged to perfection—richer, bolder, and slightly more likely to need adequate hydration and proper stretching for activities.

All jokes aside, we’re lucky to have them on the team. Their growth, dedication, and ability to put a smile on and get the job done.

Help us celebrate their anniversaries—and enjoy these legendary before-and-after shots 📸

You may have noticed Poyntz Ave received a very nice facelift with the beautifully finished Latitude Thirty-Nine condos.

This 12-unit building features one-bedroom and two-bedroom condos and is placed on the thirty-ninth parallel -- giving itself its own unique identity.

Steps away from Aggieville, Downtown Manhattan, City Park and KSU campus, this is a dream location and a wonderful find for living in MHK.

The owner has done a wonderful job with the finishing touches of landscaping and interior details. We are proud to be a part of this project and hope to see it full soon!

We've got round 2 of updates from this home remodel project with Duell Construction!

Sometimes you have to pivot - but when you have a design team/contractor combo that is willing to put in the right work to get the job done.... the results show for themselves.

We have some incredible clients.

It's Architecture week -- a special week that offers a chance to celebrate all that architecture means as a profession and everything the built environment enables us to do.
Last but NOT least, Tracy Anderson!
What inspired you to become an architect?

"It started at an early age when my grandmother gave me my first Lego set, and I played with them nonstop. Shortly after that, an Architect was at a career day for the 4th-grade class at my elementary school. After everyone had talked about their career, I went over to look at the set of blueprints he had brought with him. As I looked through the drawings, the lines, arcs, and circles seemed to make sense to me. I felt I could visualize what these drawings would become once built.

I have also had this “issue” with wanting to understand what things are built out of, and so much to the chagrin of my family, I am constantly touching materials on buildings to see what they are and how different materials were put together.

37 years into my career, I still enjoy playing with LEGOS, and still enjoy learning about building materials and trying to use them in creative ways. "
