Arborist Enterprises, Inc.

Arborist Enterprises, Inc. We are a full-service tree care, landscaping, and pest control company in southeastern PA. Locally & family-owned business based in Lancaster County, PA.

Since 1991, Arborist Enterprises, Inc. has provided comprehensive care for trees and shrubs in Chester, Lancaster, Berks, Lebanon, York, and Dauphin counties. Services provided include tree trimming and pruning, tree and stump removal, landscaping, stump grinding, tree and shrub fertilization, mulching, edging, planting, pest control, lawn care services, and more. We believe that there is no “one

size fits all” way of doing tree care because there are too many variables, such as soil condition, time of year, ground angle, amount of rainfall, and other weather conditions. When you call us, you may or may not know what the main issue is - you may just see the effects of the problem. That’s why our first step is to send one of our ISA-certified arborist out to the site to examine the tree(s) and diagnose exactly what the issues are. Our ISA-certified arborists are experienced at diagnosing tree problems, such as poor growth, tree diseases and insects, root damage, and more. An ISA-certified arborist is someone who has passed the rigorous certification exam given by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). They are also people who have met all the other eligibility requirements of the ISA and have the knowledge and experience needed to provide you with the best possible shrub and tree service. We also provide preventative services so that issues are caught and addressed before they become larger problems. We will provide a customized treatment plan that takes into account your property’s environment, as well as the age and species of each tree and shrub. Once the problem has been diagnosed, our ISA-certified arborists will create a formal proposal for addressing the issues. After you review the proposal and approve it, our team of expert tree technicians will get to work on the plan laid out by the ISA-certified arborist. For your home’s mature trees, our arboricultural experts can recommend and perform treatments that will extend their lifespan and increase their health. With the right amount of pruning, fertilizing and protective treatments to fight insect and disease infections, and bracing & cabling, you can enjoy your property’s trees for years to come. We offer these services for all tree species and sizes. When a harsh storm hits your property, you want a fast cleanup of any storm damage that may have affected your trees. Our team is ready to respond quickly after a storm, picking up downed branches, cutting down damaged limbs, and removing any severely damaged trees if necessary. Before a storm hits, we provide preventative maintenance to protect your home and your family from large limbs or dead trees. Visit our website (http://www. ArboristEnterprises.com) to learn more about our services and certifications. To schedule your complementary consultation, call our Manheim, PA headquarters at (717) 393-7602.

Cooler weather doesn't always mean your trees are done needing water! 💧 A slow, deep watering before winter helps roots store moisture and better handle seasonal stress.

In our area, it's best to keep watering until the first hard freeze, especially during dry stretches. You'll want to plan to water your tree up until temperatures dip into the 30s for a few days straight. Young maples, oaks, and ornamental trees are especially susceptible to winter drought stress during the freeze-thaw cycles we go through every year.

A little extra water now can make a BIG difference next season. Give us a call or go online and get your estimate today: https://bit.ly/4cF23p3

Autumn is almost upon us! While this might come as a surprise, fall is one of the best times to give your lawn a fresh start.

Aeration helps relieve compacted soil so water, air, and nutrients can reach the roots, while overseeding fills in the aeration holes and thin areas for a thicker, healthier lawn next season.

With this service starting up in September, it's a good idea to plan ahead and claim your spot! Give us a call or go online today to get your estimate and book in advance: https://bit.ly/4cF23p3

We know firsthand how having a strong and supportive community has impacted us for the better. Today for National Nonprofit Day, we're celebrating the organizations that work hard to make our community greener, healthier, and more connected.

Today, we’re highlighting Lancaster Conservancy, an organization that works to protect natural lands, restore waterways, and connect communities with nature throughout Lancaster County and beyond.

As tree lovers ourselves, we’re grateful for the work they do to preserve the natural landscapes that make our communities such special places to live.

Water smarter, not harder! 💧 Not all plants have the same watering needs.

Trees, shrubs, and lawns each thrive with a different approach:
🌳 Trees — Water slowly and deeply around the drip line to encourage strong, healthy roots.
🌿 Shrubs — Keep the root zone evenly moist, especially during dry stretches, but avoid overwatering.
🌱 Lawns — Water less often but more thoroughly to promote deeper root growth and a healthier, more resilient lawn.

The best time to water is early in the morning, when temperatures are cooler and less moisture is lost to evaporation.

Not sure if you're watering too much or not enough? Our team can help you identify signs of stress and recommend the best care for your property. Give us a call or visit our website today: https://bit.ly/4cF23p3

We've been saying it all season, but it's too important not to say it again: summer can be TOUGH on trees. Heat, storms, pests, and changing weather can all leave trees under stress, which is often hidden at first.

It's a good time to do an end-of-summer check for any of these warning signs:
🍂 Dead or hanging branches
🐛 Chewed leaves or webbing,
🍃 Leaves changing colors too early
🌿 Thinning or sparse canopy
🍄 Mushrooms growing near the base of the tree
🪵 Fresh cracks in the trunk or large limbs
📐 Tree suddenly starts leaning or shifting

If you've noticed any of these, it's a good time to have your trees evaluated. Our certified arborists can identify potential issues and recommend the right care to help keep your trees healthy.

These photos capture just a few of the storm-damage calls our crew has responded to over the past several weeks.

Since the storms over July 4th weekend, our team has been prioritizing the most hazardous situations first, helping remove trees from homes, vehicles, and other structures so families can begin repairs safely. As those emergency jobs are completed, we're continuing to respond to new calls and follow-up work throughout our area.

One important reminder: storm damage isn't always obvious. We've seen trees that appeared unaffected fail days later due to hidden structural damage caused by high winds.

If your property was impacted by storms and your trees haven't been evaluated — or if you've been advised to move forward with structural pruning, tree removal, or other corrective work — we're here to help. Give us a call at 717-256-2554 or visit our website today: https://bit.ly/4cF23p3

Thank you for your continued patience and trust as we work through storm recovery together. 💚 And a special thank you to our crew for their dedicated work over the past month.

Celebrate World Nature Conservation Day with us! 🌎🌳♻️

Today is a reminder that the foundation for a thriving society is a thriving environment. Healthy trees help clean our air, support wildlife, reduce erosion, and create greener, more beautiful communities. By caring for the trees and landscapes around us, we can help preserve natural resources for future generations.

Let's continue working together to protect and appreciate the environment we all share. 💚
