From leaking pipes to burst radiators, this work is part of the story that built Haldeman — and now continues through JM Lapp in Manheim.

For decades, Haldeman served this community with trusted plumbing and mechanical expertise. A big part of that story is Kenny, a 52-year plumber whose knowledge, skill, and steady presence have served countless customers over the years.

We’re grateful that Kenny’s experience is still part of the Manheim story — now alongside the growing JM Lapp team.

This post also shows something we’re excited about: experience being passed from one generation to the next.

Alongside Kenny are Shawn, a soon-to-be 50-year plumber who joined JM Lapp after retiring from running his own plumbing business; Jesse, one of our foremen; Dawson, a Lancaster CTC co-op student in training; Chandler, a new plumbing helper in training; and Matt Lapp, founder and CEO of JM Lapp, whose hydronic expertise helped shape the company from the beginning.

A leaking yard hydrant can quickly turn into a bigger problem if left alone.

For this job, we replaced a 3-foot yard hydrant beside the house after a leak was found at the 1-inch jet pipe near the existing hydrant connection.

We installed a new Merrill yard hydrant with a no-dig PVC sleeve to restore dependable outdoor water access.
