Here at FCLC we can not show our appreciation for our first responderes and veterans enough! We are offering FREE lawn mowing for one household and FREE chemical applications for another for 2026 in an attempt to show our gratitude.

With Cicada Killer Wasps being out pretty heavy this time of year, I figured this video should be shared. It does a fantastic job of explaining them from their temperament to a little about their life cycle. I know they look scary but don't worry, generally, they don't care about you or what you do near them. We regularly run our huge loud mowers right over their nests and haven't ever been stung. Every spider, ant, and even earwigs (yuck for sure!) have a place in our ecosystem.

I'm taking everyone into the world of the Cicada Killer's (wasps). We're going to take a detailed look at their life history, habits and ecological purpose. ...
