We recently completed another project with the Casa de Corazon Spanish immersion franchise! We have loved working with the Casa team over the past few years. This project was especially fun for us as we have a history of renovating fire stations -- but this is the first time we've turned one into a daycare and preschool!

Spanish immersion program Casa de Corazón is set to open its 11th location in an historic northeast Minneapolis Fire Department building this May.

After more than three decades in commercial construction, it’s still rewarding to see a project move from vision to reality—especially one that will make a real difference in the community.

We’re proud to be breaking ground on Poplar Apartments, a much-needed development in Mankato. Congratulations to the entire team on reaching closing and getting this project across the line! Today we closed on a $3.2M construction loan for Poplar Apartments, a new supportive housing community being developed by Trellis in Mankato.

This 40‑unit building will offer a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom homes designed for individuals who have experienced homelessness. Thanks to the City of Mankato, Minnesota Economic Development Authority (EDA), every unit will include project‑based rental assistance, ensuring these homes remain truly affordable and accessible to all.

We love kids and we love repeat clients! This week kicks off another project for repeat client Casa de Corazón. In childcare settings, it's important to balance the educational needs of kids, the requirements of the license, and the security of the facility. We're happy to have provided renovations, new classrooms, and better functioning spaces for the Casa team.

In 2024 we completed the SilverCreek Townhomes along with our trade partners. We're delighted to be partnering with Kaas Wilson Architects on another townhome project, this time in Hermantown, MN.

We're taking our experience in Maple Grove and doing it again in Hermantown. Be on the lookout for the construction updates as the project progresses!

When we came across boulders this size at a townhome project in Hermantown, we worked with the landscape architect to integrate them into the design for our client Oppidan Investment Company.
