We finally got through the bad weather and were able to pour concrete today.

The guys have put in a full week!
We kicked off the week with a good work load. They started these projects:
⚒️ erecting a large wrap around covered porch-1100 sq ft with a 14x50 upper level addition.
🪏 dug and poured the footings for a 40’x60’ pole barn that will be a full living space. The plumbing rough-in was done on Friday.
🪏dug and poured the footings for a 30’x30’ work shop that will eventually have an upper level man cave.
💪🏻 Up next:
Monday morning the pump truck and concrete trucks roll in to pour the caps.
By Tuesday we will start roofing for the main house, addition, and porches.
The new build on Greenbriar is wrapping up the interior woodworking and full interior painting starts Monday.
Springtime in the construction business means GO, GO, GO while the weather is nice.

The Fire Dept was worried the snow drifts might make it difficult to get the trucks out if they needed to go out on call so I decided to make It a family affair. I brought the whole family along for a little snow shoveling and de-icing. At the end, Elli said “that was fun, can we do it again?”
I sure don’t intend to do much more shoving by hand but tomorrow afternoon I’ll be getting that snow plow out to take care of all the customers that have called.

According to every meteorologist with a fb page, isn't a drill. 😬 Currently using this nice weather to panic buy deicer and find where I buried the snow shovel last winter.
