This one was a fun build.

The customer wanted something that could handle both puzzles and tabletop games, so I added a rotating Lazy Susan base with detents that allow it to stop at fixed positions during gameplay. Combined with the sorting drawers and textured surface, it makes sharing the table a lot easier.

Features like this are why I enjoy custom work—every project ends up a little different.

Just finished up this small dice tray. Client runs a Curse of Strahd DND game and wanted a coffin shape, darker wood with red felt. This was actually super fun to make with getting the angles and dimensions just right but I'm also a big math nerd!

This one turned out really nice.
Spalted hickory puzzleboard with 4 drawers, black felt lining, and a lazy Susan base so it rotates smooth while you’re working. Finished it with a lacquer coat that really brought out the grain and all that natural character in the wood.
I like this one because it’s built to actually get used — not just sit on a shelf. It’s got enough storage to keep everything organized, but still feels like something you’d leave out in the room.

Just finished up this custom tabletop RPG board that was commissioned as a birthday gift.
Built from walnut and ash with removable organizer trays, storage drawers for dice and minis, and a large black playing surface made for long campaign nights.
Projects like this are always fun because they’re more than just furniture — they’re meant to become part of someone’s game nights, stories, and memories with friends.

This one started as a conversation about trying to get the right feel.
They wanted something that didn’t look new—something with a bit of age and character to it. We ended up going with reclaimed barnwood for the trim, and spent some time dialing that in so it felt right.
Got this message from them after it made it home, which honestly means a lot.
Always cool seeing these pieces land where they’re meant to.
