A new chapter for West Holmes students.

We’re proud to celebrate the completion and opening of the new West Holmes Elementary School, a 108,000-square-foot facility designed to serve approximately 750 students in grades K–5.

Breaking ground in summer 2024 and opening its doors in summer 2026, the new school represents a significant investment in the students, educators, and community of West Holmes. The project was recently celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the district.

This project also reflects what’s possible when strong teams come together. We’re proud of the work of our project team, including Project Superintendent Kirk Snyder and Project Engineer Robert Curry, alongside our partners at Fanning Howey and West Holmes Local Schools.

A school is more than a building. It’s a place where the next generation will learn, grow, and build their futures.

Our 2026 Internship Program officially wrapped up this month with final presentations to our leadership team — and we couldn’t be more proud of what this group accomplished.

This summer, our Florida interns gained hands-on experience across our Theme, Ride & Steel teams, while our Ohio interns were exposed to a variety of trades, delivery methods, and project environments.

With internships shaped around both Project Management and Project Engineering, our interns gained valuable insight into the construction process, contributed to meaningful projects, and built confidence along the way.

We’re proud to have been part of their development and excited to see where their careers take them next.

Proud to be part of preserving one of Colorado's premier mountain destinations.

Our Colorado team is completing siding improvements at the Vail Resorts, Inc. Lodge at Mountaineer Square in Crested Butte, helping enhance the experience for residents and guests.

For the past 12 years, Adena Construction has been building and renovating projects across the Western slope of Colorado, serving healthcare, higher education, government, and commercial clients.

We are excited to be a part of supporting and building Colorado’s communities. Stay tuned for project updates and to see the opening of our newest Adena office in Salida, CO (opening October 2026).
