A proud family moment for Bo Lacey Construction.
Congratulations to Gunner Lacey on these incredible honors and on the way he has represented Ashland Football, Ashland High School, and the Lacey name.
Bo Lacey Construction was named after Gunner’s late grandfather, Bo Lacey. Gunner is the son of Kevin Lacey and the godson of Jon Qualls — co-owners of Bo Lacey Construction — so this one means a lot to our entire Bo Lacey family.
Gunner, we’re proud of your toughness, humility, leadership, and the example you’ve set on and off the field.
Once an Arrow, always an Arrow. 🏹🏈
Congratulations to Gunner Lacey on an incredible day at the Ashland High School Class of 2026 Farewell Assembly.
Gunner was recognized with several major honors, including the OHSAA Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes student-athletes who display exemplary sportsmanship, ethics, integrity, leadership, humility, and character. The award is named after Archie Griffin, the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner and one of Ohio’s great examples of sportsmanship.
Gunner also received the Archer Scholar-Athlete Scholarship for academic and athletic excellence, along with the Golden Arrow Award for earning 9 varsity letters:
4 — Football
4 — Track
1 — Basketball
Between athletic and academic scholarships, Gunner will attend Ashland University next year on a full scholarship, where he will continue his football career.
Gunner leaves Ashland as a 4-year football letterman, 2-time First Team All-Ohio linebacker, and the Arrows’ all-time career tackles leader with 416 tackles.
Congratulations, Gunner. You represented Ashland Football the right way — with toughness, leadership, humility, and class.
Once an Arrow, always an Arrow. 🏹🏈
