From rotten siding to a full exterior transformation.

This Cascade Lodge project came together with new two-tone LP siding, clean black accents, and a finished look that completely changed the building.

We don’t work this far out of town too often, but this transformation project was definitely worth the trip! 🚗

This 3-week project is officially wrapped up. Our team removed the old siding, installed new v***r barrier, installed new windows, flashed the windows, installed new two-tone LP SmartSide siding, replaced the metal apron roofs over the windows, installed new gutters, and helped bring this lodge back to life.

The Cascade Lodge got a major facelift!

We don’t work this far out of town too often, but this transformation project was definitely worth the trip! 🚗

Have you ever noticed an old lightning rod with a glass sphere on it and wondered why it’s there? ⚡️💡

This homeowner decided not to reinstall this old lightning rod, but it’s a cool piece of history. Some glass spheres were purely decorative, while others acted as tell-tales: in a strike, the glass could shatter, signaling it was time to inspect the rod and grounding. (They weren’t meant to light up like a bulb—myth busted.)

Another project wrapped up in St. Michael, MN! 🏠⚒️

We used The Catch-All roofing protection system during tear-off to keep the property safe and clean — protecting siding, landscaping, and windows throughout the process.

This homeowner had leaks at the roof-to-wall flashing, so our crew carefully cut into the stucco to install brand new step flashing, dormer flashing, and kick-out diverters to direct water away properly.

On the low-slope roof sections (below 4/12 pitch), we installed a double layer of synthetic underlayment, following Minnesota code requirements for added waterproofing and long-term durability. ✅

Now this St. Michael homeowner has a leak-proof roof that’s built to last for years to come!
