With a heavy heart… Yesterday morning Scheff Logging & Trucking Inc. lost 💔 Cody Allain (our Skidder operator) in a side by side accident on his way to work.

Cody had worked for us since September of 2022. We were lucky enough to have him just shy of three years. His big smile, easy going attitude, hardworking, ALWAYS on time, laid back, happy personality will forever be cherished and deeply missed.

Please keep his wife, 3 boys, parents, brother and his Scheff Logging Family in your prayers.

Scheff Logging & Trucking Inc. is honored for the invitation to accept Ponsse’s 21,000th machine (Pictured below). Ponsse’s North America’s Paul Estabrooks and crews commitment to providing outstanding service is a vital asset for Scheff Logging and very much appreciated.

Scheff Logging is being represented by James Scheff’s 3rd generation logger grandson Jhace Pearson along with his best friend Matthew Vosika(known with-in the company as Timmy). Jhace was asked in Kindergarten what he was going to be when he grew up. His answer was… “I’m going to be a logger”. Jhace and Matthew went to the woods two days after high school graduation, to carry out the family dream.

Scheff Logging & Trucking Inc. is based in Marcell Minnesota (USA). The company was established in 1977 by owner James Scheff’s at the age of fourteen with his 1965 model 215 Timberjack Cable Skidder. His brother’s David A. and Jeff followed his path within the next two years creating the family owned Scheff business. Their late amazing mother “Susy” played a significant role helping the young men’s financial decision and book work. Scheff Logging has grown to three generations of family loggers and employs forty plus loggers and truckers. The company operates six-full-time woods crews, twenty-three tractor trailers, and many pieces of road building equipment.

Scheff Logging extends their gratitude to all Ponsee Members and is excited for another great machine.

Jhace & Matthew are currently in Finland 🇫🇮 representing the family business 🇺🇸.

Christmas is just around the corner 🎄. I know how EXCITING 🎄!!! . I LOVE Christmas!!!! 🤶There are many families that may need a little help or struggle around the holiday season. LET’S HELP —- every little bit helps!

If you are interested in donating an item or a few items please feel free to drop them off at the Scheff Logging office before December 16th and we can bring them to the Bigfork City hall drop box.
