𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. ❤️

The Morrow County Dog Shelter is full again.

𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟳 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿. Not all of them are currently available for adoption, but every one of them needs space, care, exercise, and attention while they're there. And there are 6 more at the prison that need adopters.

For a small county shelter, that's a lot of dogs.

Some are brand new. Some aren't available for adoption yet. Some have been waiting for months. And some have been waiting for more than a year.

A full shelter is hard on everyone, but especially on the dogs. Even with people doing everything they can for them, a kennel is still a kennel. It's noisy. It's stressful. And some dogs handle that environment better than others.

So we're asking our followers to think about whether there's something you can do.

❤️ 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, this would be a great time to come meet one of the dogs who is currently available.

🐾 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲, contact the shelter and ask about volunteer opportunities.

And if none of those things are possible for you, that's okay too.

𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀. 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.

You never know when the person who sees your share will be the person one of these dogs has been waiting for.

Friends will keep doing what we can to get their faces and stories in front of people.

But right now, these dogs could really use some more people stepping forward to help. ❤️
