We're not here to clean your gutters, but if you have a situation like this - water is being dumped right at your foundation. That means your sump pump is working harder than necessary. And if it fails, it will be a bigger catastrophe than necessary.

PSA: clean those downspouts and gutters!

During freezing weather, water inside pipes can freeze and expand. Frozen pipes are one of the most common causes of winter home damage in Ohio.

Sometimes, pipes don’t fully burst during the freeze. Instead, they develop hairline cracks. When temperatures rise, the ice melts and water begins to leak slowly. These leaks often go unnoticed behind walls, under floors, or in loft spaces until damp patches, mold, or a drop in water pressure becomes visible.

Signs to look for:
Damp smells
Staining on ceilings or walls
Unexpectedly higher water bills
Reduced water pressure
