Recognize this yard?
It’s mine and has been featured in a few posts.
I decided to snap a few shots to show what it looks like from the customer’s perspective.
Plus, some stubborn spurge popped up after the 2 inches of rain we saw last night, I had extra spray, and it’s been 4 months since I last sprayed my own yard.
Extra spray?
I mixed up 6 gallons of product for an enormous yard today. Used 2 gallons on the front yard before discovering a locked gate to the rear. No one came to the door so I went to lunch before treating one more yard.
Long story short, rather than dumping the leftover mix, I used what I could on my own yard to minimize waste.
I’m going back tomorrow to finish their back yard and will make a new fresh mix for them.
The pre-emergent w**d spray dries naturally with a yellow tint. Dye can be added to make it bluish-green if desired.
Because w**d killer is mixed with with the w**d controlling pre-emergent, I can’t get too close to shrubs, flowers, or grass.
If you look closely at the pictures you’ll see a distinct difference in the color of the rocks where I avoided plants and the neighbor’s property.
If you schedule service when w**ds aren’t present, I can mix just pre-emergent and spray the bushes and grass lawn too.
I’ll leave the spray as is for now, in the hopes of rain soon. But if it doesn’t rain in the next few days, I’ll go over it with my hose to wash the pre-emergent in and show my own yard again in December.
It will be w**d free. Guaranteed.
If I get any new w**ds in the front yard before December, I’ll pick one follower or fan of the FB Page and award them a free spray.
Maybe I’ll post some pictures of the dead spurge in a few days.
