Building More Than Just Square Footage

Every successful addition starts long before the framing goes up.

This week we're pouring the foundation for a new rear addition that will seamlessly expand this home while blending with the existing architecture. Although it may not look like much yet, this is one of the most critical phases of the entire project. Everything that follows depends on getting this part exactly right.

From excavation and grading to foundation layout, drainage planning, and structural preparation, there's a tremendous amount of work happening below ground that most homeowners never get to see.

Our goal with every project is simple:

Every dream home starts with a little dirt...

This week our team began preparing the site for what will become a two-story addition that will nearly double the size of this home.

Before the first footing is poured, there's a tremendous amount of work happening behind the scenes:
✔️ Demolition
✔️ Excavation
✔️ Grading
✔️ Erosion control
✔️ Temporary access road installation
✔️ Material staging
✔️ Preparing for foundations

These early stages may not be glamorous, but they're some of the most important steps in building a home that will last for generations.

Over the coming weeks, this property will be completely transformed with a beautiful new addition that blends seamlessly with the existing home while creating the extra space this family needs.

This project represents far more than adding square footage—it's about creating a home that better serves this family's lifestyle for years to come.

A full transformation is underway on this home, and the craftsmanship throughout this renovation is really starting to show.

This project included a complete kitchen renovation along with refinishing and renovating the existing staircase to completely update the feel of the home.

From the custom cabinetry and detailed trim work to the refreshed staircase finishes and architectural balance throughout the foyer, every detail has been carefully coordinated to create a clean, timeless look.

One of the things we love most about renovations like this is blending existing character with new design elements in a way that feels seamless — not forced.

The result is a home that feels completely refreshed while still maintaining the character and scale that made it special to begin with.

Today is a big milestone as the countertops are being installed, and this space is about to come to life in a major way.

When you’ve got the right framing crew, you don’t always need a crane.

This project involved a second-story addition that added two bedrooms, a larger bathroom, and a hidden attic art studio tucked up into the roofline.

These photos show the moment when the structure really started coming together. The guys set the roof trusses by hand and kept the project moving without missing a beat.

Just another day on site with a crew that knows how to get it done.

Most people only see the finished house.

Very few see what it takes to get there.

These photos are from the beginning of a complete interior demolition on a home that’s about to undergo a full rebuild. Walls were opened up, ceilings removed, insulation pulled out, and the entire structure brought down to the framing.

What’s left is the bare bones of the house — exposed studs, joists, and structural framing.

It’s messy.
It’s dusty.
But it’s the first step in transforming an old house into something completely new.

The rebuild starts here.

Sometimes the best additions are the ones you barely notice… because they look like they were always meant to be there.

This project was a garage addition, carefully designed to match the existing home’s architecture, roofline, brick, and stonework. From the dormers to the stone veneer and wood garage doors, every detail was carried through so the new space feels completely original to the house.

When it's done right, it doesn’t look like an addition.

It looks like it grew there.
