Ken Strahler Masonry, Inc. is searching for a dependable, hardworking, ambitious full-time construction laborer with interest in residential masonry and concrete construction.
Duties include:
• Must be able to routinely lift heavy objects including lumber, block, brick, mortar/concrete bags, etc.
• Perform hand excavation and raking.
• Signal and assist equipment operators and truck drivers.
• Flag traffic.
• Screed, rake and finish concrete.
• Carpentry work related to forming and rough framing.
• Masonry work including brick and block laying or tending.
• Equipment operation: mini excavator or skid steer.
• Scaffolding er****on, includes working at heights.
• Truck driving, if properly licensed.
Experience and Qualifications:
• 3 years of construction experience is preferable.
• Dependable, able to arrive on time and willing to work flexible hours including overtime and Saturdays.
• Must work well with others and able to follow directions.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to be insured to drive company vehicle. Class A or B CDL is desirable but not required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Understand safety regulations and follow all company safety guidelines.
Compensation:
• Hourly wage based on experience.
• Simple IRA with company matching available.
• Boot allowance.
