BEFORE YOU SIGN FOR PEST CONTROL, ASK THESE 5 QUESTIONS.
A knock at the door. A special offer. Maybe a little pressure to make a decision right now.
That's a good time to pause.
The Georgia Department of Agriculture recently warned homeowners about increased reports involving unlicensed individuals soliciting pest-control services door-to-door.
Over the years, we've also talked with homeowners who thought they understood the service they were purchasing, only to discover later that the price, recurring agreement, service expectations - or simply who they were doing business with - wasn't quite what they expected.
Before you sign, ask:
✓ Are they licensed or registered?
✓ Who do they represent?
✓ Can you reach them later?
✓ What service is included?
✓ Is it recurring?
A reputable pest-control company should be willing to answer those questions clearly.
At Dixie, every member of our team, both in the field and in our office, is licensed and registered with the Georgia Department of Agriculture. We've served Metro Atlanta since 1963, and we believe homeowners should understand exactly who they're hiring and what they're agreeing to. Basic integrity stuff.
