Check out the crew putting in the work with fresh bales!
We get asked all the time about the difference between wood mulch and pine straw. It all comes down to your yard's specific needs and the look you want to achieve.
Pine straw: great for sloped areas because they won't wash away easily in heavy rain. As they break down, they add acidity to the soil, creating a perfect environment for acid-loving plants like azaleas, camellias, and pine trees.
Wood mulch: bark or wood chip mulch is the ultimate moisture-retainer. It acts as a thick insulator for plant roots and does a fantastic job of blocking out weeds.
Not sure which one fits your landscape design? We can help you make the right call and handle the installation.
