God has blessed me through the years with opportunities to design facilities for His work. This is one example, the Todd Prayer Chapel at North Greenville University. I’ve been privileged to design over 500 Christian churches, chapels, schools, family life centers, retreats, theaters, venues, daycares, and shelters. I often hear of how this particular chapel has been a place of comfort and peace to someone, a student or a faculty member or to someone visiting campus. I thank God for opportunities like this. To Him be the glory.

Travelers Rest United Methodist Church sanctuary and bell tower was one of my first projects after opening my firm. It was a great pleasure working with the folks there, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity they gave me and the faith they place in me as a young architect. I am so blessed to have designed this and hundreds of other projects for churches during the past 40 years.

One of my greatest joys is seeing my designs built and used well. My firm is a general design firm which means I enjoy all types of residential and commercial design, but my focus is church design. A well designed and functional church facility glorifies the Lord and enhances worship, learning, and fellowship.
