💧 Irrigation Leak Detection in Marietta, Georgia!

Today’s leak detection took us to Marietta, GA, after being referred by Mr. Plumber for a customer experiencing an irrigation water leak.

We introduced approximately 90 PSI of air into the irrigation system and carefully inspected the property using our specialized leak detection equipment. We were able to pinpoint the problem area near the irrigation solenoid valves, allowing the customer to move forward with the proper repairs without unnecessary digging.

Last week the Mr. Plumber team had the incredible opportunity to complete our July Plumbing with Purpose project for Aaron Laseynik and his family.

Aaron was nominated because of his devotion to not only his family but his community and country as well. For over 30 years, Aaron has given back in more ways than one. From his time in the Marine Corps, to later joining the Airforce, to becoming a Firefighter and Paramedic for the city of Atlanta, to co-founding Milvet, a foundation that works with veterans to provide meals, community and a safe environment for those entering back into the civilian life. Aaron has been no stranger to showing up for those in need and rarely does he ask for help from others.

But when his water heater was in need of replacement, that weighed heavy on his shoulders.

Although Aaron was ready to jump in and take on the stress both mentally and financially to fix his water heater, the Mr. Plumber team was ready to take the lead on "saving the day" and give back to Aaron what he gives on a daily basis to his community.

Not only is Aaron in the business of giving back and serving his community, but so is his whole family. His wife, Jen, works for 911 and both his sons, Ethan and Zachary, are in the military. Ethan is in the Army serving as a nurse, while Zachary is a sophomore at GA Southern and is currently serving in the National Guard!

On behalf of the Mr. Plumber family, we are so honored to have been able to give back to the Laseynik family. We appreciate them for all of the sacrifices they have made and especially to Aaron for leading his family and his career with such selfless care and integrity.

We know this was just a small act of kindness compared to what Aaron gives on a daily basis, but we hope the Laseynik family as a whole enjoys their new water heater for many, many years!

You may remember our customer, Kevin, who we helped back in May replace his water heater at no charge to him.

Kevin is a single father who was experiencing incredible loss and when his water heater went out, it was just one more stressor he didn't need. (see Kevin's full story in our pinned post)

When our team was able to help Kevin take that stress off his plate, it sparked something in us and made us take a step back and ask ourselves, "How many other families are in need and could use help like this?"

From that experience with Kevin and asking ourselves that question, our new community outreach program, Plumbing with Purpose, was born.

Plumbing with Purpose Outreach, is a monthly program designed to provide a free water heater installation to a deserving local family or individual in need.

What began as a simple act of kindness for a customer in need quickly evolved into something much bigger.

Plumbing with Purpose allows us to turn our resources into meaningful opportunities for local families facing difficult circumstances. Through community nominations, we can identify individuals and families who could benefit from a helping hand and provide them with something many of us take for granted, reliable hot water and the comfort of home.

More than just a giveaway, Plumbing with Purpose is a community-driven initiative that brings together our customers, employees, and neighbors, to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

We are currently seeking our August recipient and need your nominations!

Who can be nominated?
We encourage nominations for individuals or families who may be facing circumstances such as:

Financial hardship
Serious illness or medical challenges
Loss of a loved one
Single-parent households experiencing difficulties
Veterans, seniors, or individuals on fixed incomes
Families facing unexpected emergencies
Community members who consistently give back to others but may now need support themselves
