Thinking about painting your home’s exterior? Fall can be a great time to get it done before colder weather arrives.

For this Marietta, GA home, our work went beyond a fresh coat of paint. We:
• Replaced areas of rotted wood
• Replaced damaged siding where needed
• Repaired several boards on the back deck
• Painted the home with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint
• Stained the cedar siding with WoodScapes
• Finished the deck with SuperDeck stain

The result is a refreshed exterior with the repairs taken care of before the new finish went on.

If your home needs exterior painting, wood repair, siding repair, or deck work, now is a good time to have it checked.

A beautiful covered porch starts with the details—even overhead.

For this porch ceiling, we used James Hardie® Beaded Porch Panel for a clean, finished look. Hardie® Trim was used for the bed moulding, to cover the ceiling butt seams, and around the perimeter to bring the whole design together.

Why use James Hardie products for a covered porch? They offer the classic look homeowners want with durable fiber cement construction designed for exterior applications.

As a James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor, Nelson Exteriors helps homeowners across Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta, Atlanta, and the surrounding area create outdoor spaces that look great from every angle.

The deck on this Decatur, GA home was in need of repair. Years of weathering caused damaged boards and unsafe railing conditions. So the homeowner reached out to us to complete a deck rebuild. 🏡👷

We used pressure treated pine to build a new deck, steps, and railing. This also included replacing the foundation retaining wall railing! 🔨

Alongside the deck, there were a few other areas the homeowner wanted to update:
- We installed new screens and posts on the screened-in porch
- Installed a new Anderson 2000 series storm door
- Replaced areas of rotted wood on the fascia, brick moulds, soffit, and corner boards

Lastly, we painted one coat of Sherwin Williams SuperPaint on the trim of the home and installed new aluminum gutters. Now the back deck is safer, in much better condition, and ready in time for fall and holiday gatherings. 🍁🌲🤭
