Riggs Drilling Solutions has several decades of experience in the construction of high-speed internet to rural communities especially in Southern Illinois. Protek Fiber was selected by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity’s Connect Illinois Program to build fiber to Williamson, Jackson, Franklin, Johnson and Union Counties. Riggs Drilling Solutions thanks Cam MCcurdy and Josh Watson & Everyone @ ProTek Fiber for selecting them as a contractor for this endeavor that will connect these rural communities.

We wanted to post a random Sunday morning update on our current fiber project! (Meme for attention 😂 ) We are rapidly nearing completion of phase 1, we expect to have everyone who has committed to services online within the coming weeks! We wanted to give a big shout out to our contractor, Riggs Drilling Solutions Inc. who is doing an excellent job putting everything in despite the poor weather. Our crew has been installing drops as quickly as possible weather permitting and we will continue to do so. We have big plans in the works to bring these services to additional locations as we reach out to new areas and overlap our existing coverage.
